Hi, friends,
I’m so thrilled to announce my next seminar with The Shipman Agency. I’m even more thrilled to lead this seminar with my pals and superstar authors, Edgar Gomez, author of the witty and brilliant memoir, High-Risk Homosexual, and Jen Winston, author of the provocative and laugh-out-loud collection of essays, Greedy.

Craft Seminar: Claiming Your Corner in Queer Narrative Nonfiction
Two sessions: Saturday, June 10 & 17
Noon-1:30 p.m. EST
Please note that this is the same class offered twice.
Narrative nonfiction forces writers to delve into our pasts, which often means mining, categorizing, and rehashing our trauma. For queer and otherwise marginalized people, this often means navigating who we are through a prism of marketing and quota-driven diversity. Join three queer authors as they discuss their experiences selling their work, and provide strategies for queer people to hold onto their true selves in the process.
You can sign up here. We hope to see you there!
XO,
GM
